Welcome! I am Dr. Mia D. Johnson, a visionary educator, global leader, and advocate for resilience and empowerment. With a Ph.D. in Global Leadership and extensive experience in higher education, leadership, and mentorship, my mission is to educate, empower, and elevate individuals and communities.
As a Chancellor and Professor, I have dedicated my career to student success, leadership development, and institutional transformation. My research and teachings focus on grief, mindset, resilience, global leadership, and positive psychology, helping individuals navigate change and unlock their full potential.
I am also the co-author of Supporting Others in Times of Loss: Stories of Grief, Trauma, and Leadership, a book that explores the intersection of grief, resilience, and leadership. Through powerful storytelling and research, I provide insights on supporting others during difficult times while fostering growth and transformation.
Beyond academia, I am a speaker, consultant, and community leader, with publications and keynote presentations on leadership, professional development, and social impact. I serve on multiple boards, championing initiatives that promote education, equity, and community growth.
Join me in creating meaningful change—through leadership, education, and collaboration. Let’s connect and make an impact together!
